Start Far Flung Game by choosing Daily or Unlimited in the player. Select Classic for a timed challenge or Wander for a quieter session. Read the whole clue before choosing: a country can look plausible on the map and still fail a specific condition.
For each Far Flung Game clue, select a country on the map or use the search field. Review the name before pressing Confirm Country. Moving around the map does not submit an answer, so take a moment to check that you selected the country you intended.
After submitting, read the result and continue to the next clue. Far Flung Game has five rounds per expedition. Treat a missed answer as a useful discovery: the result can help you recognise a border, location, or geographical relationship next time.
New to this drop a pin game? Begin with Wander and use familiar countries first. Build accuracy before chasing unusual choices. Far Flung Game rewards a valid answer; an obscure guess is only useful when it actually satisfies the clue.

The Cartographer’s Dispatch
A successful Far Flung Game answer earns distance according to its rarity tier. Less familiar qualifying countries can earn more than obvious ones. These tiers are set by the provider, so they should not be read as a live survey of what other players guessed.
Think of Far Flung Game strategy in two steps: first identify a country you know fits; then consider whether a less familiar alternative also qualifies. Do not trade a sound answer for a random guess simply because it looks remote. Geography knowledge matters more than the size of the country on screen.
Expedition Select

Classic adds a 60-second limit to each clue. In Far Flung Game, that makes a quick, dependable choice useful. Have a country in mind before searching, and confirm it before the countdown expires.
Wander removes the clock. Use this Far Flung Game mode to explore the map, consider alternatives, and get comfortable with the search controls. The absence of a timer lets you focus on the question.
